Compressed Natural Gas Suburban
Most gasoline autos can be converted to use Compressed Natural Gas, or CNG as fuel. The engine runs cleaner, and has no need for a 'warm up' period when first started. The General Motors 350 V-8 is a solid motor, and has already been "approved" by the EPA for conversion.
During the process of installing the components, which could take a while as this is my daily driver, I will also alter the ECM and gas lines to make the unit "E-85" compatible.

Small adjustments to the timing, and fuel delivery systems are all that is required to use CNG in a gasoline motor. Advanced conversion sites even sell "home pump stations", that can fill your tank from the natural gas line running into the home! Conversion is still very much in the design phase.
Stay tuned for progress as it happens!
